*************************Usage**************************** Options can be typed in any order except for -help, -pauseless, -quiet, and -version, which should come first. Filenames and paths can contain blanks or double quotes. Hplex [dialog options] [audio options] [input options] [output options] [burning options] [Lplex-DVD-A author launching modes] Switches that take arguments are indicated within square brackets below: =========dialog options========= -verbose increased level of verbosity on console and processing applications (debugging option) -quiet quiet mode, see Hplex\data\log.txt for report -version gives Hplex version -pauseless executes Hplex without any pause =========audio settings options========= [-ba figure/automatic/same] bit depth of DVD audio zone files (DVD:\AUDIO_TS) possible values for figure are 16 or 24 [-bv figure/automatic/same] bit depth of DVD video zone files (DVD:\VIDEO_TS) possible values for figure are 16 or 24 [-sa figure/automatic/same] sample rate in kHz for audio zone files: possible values for figure are 44, 48, 88, 96, 192 [-sv figure/automatic/same] sample rate in kHz for audio zone files: possible values for figure are 48 and 96 [-S: --options] Shibatch SSRC options to be mentioned in a row with -- before each option e.g. -S: --twopass --dither 2 see "shibatch ssrc-1.30.txt" Feature automatic outputs bit/sample rates optimally computed by Hplex. Feature same ensures that bit/sample rates are kept as is. This feature may block some hybrid configurations. Sample/bit rates can be entered manually. In this case enter both -bv and -sv with appropriate figures, and/or -ba and -sa =========input options========= [-e f0] [-i f1] [-m f2] [-a f3] [-v f4] f0 to f4 represent paths to folders containing files: f0 audio files will be burned to video zone if (and only if) DVD-Video compliant (16/24 bits and 48/96 kHz), and will be burned to audio zone otherwise. f1 audio files will be burned to video zone if (and only if) DVD-Video compliant. all files will be burned to audio zone. f2 all audio files will be mirrored both in audio and video zone for universal playback, with appropriate resampling if necessary f3 audio files will be burned to audio zone (user selection) f4 audio files will be burned to video zone (user selection), after resampling procedure if necessary. See Hplex\data\readme for resampling modes and hybrid-building strategies. ==audio format conversion== [-sox: options] [-flac: options] [-c yes/no] [-cd: name] Input audio can be automatically converted using either switch -c yes or automated defaults settings. The following formats are supported: .flac .8svx .aiff .alsa .au .avr .cdr .cvs .dat .gsm .hcom .maud .mp3 .ogg .sf .sph .smp .snd .sndt .txw .vms .voc .vox .wav .wve .raw .ub .sb .uw .sw .ul .al .lu .la .sl CDs can be automatically ripped by using switch -cd: followed by the name of the CD reader (given in windows explorer). Hplex uses flac, SoX and cdda2wav to perform conversion. SoX options can be introduced using -sox: options SoX options can be introduced using -flac: options All subordinate options should be entered with double hyphens. cdda2wav are currently hard-code fixed as --no--infofile --alltracks See Hplex\data\readme for resampling modes and hybrid-building strategies. =========output options========= [-x DVD-drive directory:] [-ta f5] [-tv f6] [-d f7] [-ra f8] [-rv f9] [-M: --options] -x to recover/unpack audio from a hybrid DVD Followed by path to DVD (e.g. -x E: ) -x -ra no just extracts audio from DVD\VIDEO_TS (video zone) -x -rv no just extracts audio from DVD\AUDIO_TS (audio zone) f5 to f9 represent paths to folders containing files: f5 resampled audio files to be burned to audio zone f6 resampled audio files to be burned to video zone f7 hybrid DVD structure: DVD-video zone files in f7\VIDEO_TS and DVD-audio zone files in f7\AUDIO_TS f8 audio files ripped from DVD-audio zone f9 audio files ripped from DVD-video zone -M: introduces mkisofs options preceded by double hyphens see mkisofs.txt in Hplex\data\readme =====Lplex-DVD-A author launching modes===== [-L --Lplex options "files or folders"] direct launch of Lplex with Lplex syntax (double quotes necessary) [-L --Lplex options ] input folders are Hplex default folders ([-D: --pp XXX]) [-D "files"] direct launch of DVD-A author ([-D: --pp XXX]) [-D ] input folders are Hplex default folders =========burning options========= [-b mode] [-B: options1 --options2 ] -b no Hplex just makes an ISO -b yes automatic detection of burner by Hplex -b name burner name (see OS tools) if automatic detection fails -B: cdrecord options to be introduced by -- for each option except for options that are introduced without hyphens in cdrecord alone (e.g. -B: blank=fast --eject) see cdrecord.txt for further information ==default settings== Type "Hplex" to launch default batch from command-line window in folder Hplex\bat, or click on Hplex icon on desktop. The default installation procedure provides for a default settings, which are: //dialog// -verbose : no //audio// -ba/-sa/-bv/-sv automatic -i, -m, -a, -v respectively C:\Hplex\input, mirror, audio, video //output// -d C:\Hplex\dvd -rv, -ra, -tv, -ta respectively C:\Hplex\recovered_video \recovered_audio \resampled_video \resampled_audio -S: --twopass -L: --pause=false is hard-code set (but can be overridden by -L: --pause true) -D:, -M: (none) //burning// -b no -B: --eject With these settings, clicking on Hplex icon will launch Hplex processing of folder -i, following Preference rule. If -i is not filled -m will be processed instead, following Mirror strategy. If -m is empty, both -a and -v wil be processed, following Last resort (user-defined zone content).
